Inspire the World and Your Company With Custom Posters

How many times have you seen the large, framed posters of a giant blue whale’s tail splashing down onto the ocean? How about the poster with a sequence of shots taken of a giant wave crashing over a lighthouse? Usually there is an accompanying one-word inspirational or motivational imprint saying, for instance. “Team Work”, “Motivate”, “Energize” or take your pick from thousands of variations. If you have nodded your head at any time in this opening paragraph because you know the posters I’m referring to then really you ought to be asking what can really be so original and inspirational about an old print and some old words? If you are looking to inspire initiative in your people don’t you really need to be demonstrating the same traits as those you are looking to imbue in others – of course you do!

With digital cameras and photo waffleware available at very cheap prices and which will allow even the most fumbling amateur to produce great looking images, you are now free to create your own posters to motivate and inspire your employees and your business partners.

The issue will be your subject matter for the poster imagery and selecting a print partner who will be able to create poster quality prints suitable for use and being put on display. Using your imagination in coming up with subjects to turn into a poster you should look no further than your own company to begin with. There are numerous subjects and moments which may be captured and will be eminently suitable for turning into a published poster. Look at your staff when at work or at play; look at your business location, your setting and physical impact upon your local community. If you are involved in social and community affairs, look at bringing these into the equation and don’t forget you have a stack of customers who will not likely be averse to some publicity and exposure at your expense.

You need to take a little time to think about the theme of your custom poster efforts; if your watchword is “Inspire” then you will be looking for moments when you can capture an image that helps define this character trait. For instance, an experienced employee showing a younger one how to get the job done – don’t have the two of them pose, because you’ll just get a set of posed smiling teeth – wait for the moment and let them work together so they become engaged in the matter at hand and not in you with the camera.

Your print partner will be easily able to turn your digital images into posters of any size though you should aim to stick with standard sizing to avoid expense. They will also be able to brush up your images so they stand out better – it is a simple matter for factors such as color and lighting to be adjusted and even cropping the image so you get a good subject position within the finished poster.

For the cost of a digital camera and some time with your print partner you can come up with a set of original and inspirational posters for use in your business and truly demonstrate the qualities you are looking for your people to adopt when at work.

How Can You Make Money Online? Acquire The Skills

The whole making money online idea has gotten so big (plenty of room for you) that it has spawned a new concept, a whole new type of lifestyle.

The Internet Marketing lifestyle is being sold in a thousand different forms and it really only boils down to two things coming together. A buyer and a seller. More on that later.

Today, a lot of people are looking at making money online. Seems reasonable to me. Have you seen the news lately? This was written in the Spring of 2009.

The Internet Marketing lifestyle idea is that you get your web sites strung together…set it on autopilot…and check your earnings in the morning! Then you hop into your brand new, paid for car, and drive over to your personal trainer for a good workout.

Later you check your inflow of capital again. This has become habitual. Perhaps you check it too much. But, after all, you are an Internet Marketer, and you love the rush of money!

Later, at the coffee shop, you see the car salesmen and real estate people in their suits. They are on their cell phones. They look at their watches.

They’re missing customers while indulging in fancy coffees and bantering with the commercial crowd. But not you.

You are the regular looking person with a laptop. You love wi-fi at public places.

No one has any idea what you are up to and if you tried to explain it to them, they wouldn’t understand. But they know what “making money” is.

You set up some money making websites and you spend your time tuning them up to earn more or starting a new one to provide a whole new income stream.

You see them, hard working pros in real estate and insurance. You haven’t got the heart to tell them that you have a way to make money online while drinking coffee…or sleeping for that matter!

Ever since your first sale you have been duplicating it, over and over. Taking advantage of the fact that what worked once, will work again, you improve and expand on what worked before.

If you are anything like me you are in LOVE with the idea of making decent money by knowing how to sell things online.

The question is…how bad do you want it?

I ask you that because there are some things you have to learn to make it in Internet Marketing, and I have never sugar coated that fact to get someone to buy something.

If you want to sit around watching money roll into your accounts, you are going to have to work for it. It starts with willingness. You have to be able to be willing to work at Internet Marketing.

Then it will come. A little at first…and then a little more. You’ll keep improving what is working for you. You won’t do it EXACTLY like others do. You are a human being after all and you have a personality. It’s a good thing.

Yes, the Internet Marketing, make money online lifestyle has a LOT of appeal, and for good reason.

But, to succeed at it takes a plan. A series of “skill steps” being learned. Once that is out of the way you are ready for implementing the actual sales process.

When I was first looking at Internet Marketing I was VERY confused.

As I became more conversant with the language and procedures, my confusion melted away and allowed me to concentrate on getting the job done.

For me, the “job” is “bringing lots of people to a website they were looking for and letting them buy something they might be interested in!”

Yes, you can make money online with Internet Marketing skills! All you have to do is learn the skills!

After that, you can be down at the coffee shop with your laptop, checking your email and money accounts and looking over what is working for you and what is not.

So, if the idea of a good income appeals to you, if you like the sound of making money online, if you are willing to work to get it, Internet Marketing has MANY benefits.

The main benefits are…you’ll have work, it will pay well, it has low costs and high possible earnings. Did I mention that you can do it at your kitchen table in your pajamas? Yes, just like that and good money too!

If you are wanting to get started the right way in Internet Marketing let me tell you why you should listen to this.

I spent over a year and ten thousand dollars learning as much as I could as fast as I could and only then I discovered that I could have done it a LOT better, a LOT faster, and a LOT cheaper. That’s the way I can show you!

You can start without spending very much AND getting to actual earnings a LOT faster.

That would be just the way I’d do it…I can see it clearly, now that I can look back on it.

Do you need to do something to earn money, but don’t know what…and how? Visit my blog at Making An Internet Marketer and sign up for the email course, IT”S FREE. You’ll find out a LOT and Quick! Here’s to your success, Riley West

Every company that is serious about advertising and bringing in new business and cash flow advertises via the internet. There are many reasons why but the main one is because the internet is the easiest way to reach people with specials and sales you may be running

The costs involved with starting up a web page for your boot camp are nothing in comparison to the new business it will generate for you. With a web page you’re able to change things daily about your business and also list promotions specials and discounts as well. Things like that catch people’s eye and draw interest. The internet is a useful tool and should be utilized.

You don’t realize this but every time you get a new client you also get a “potential” new client through them. That is as long as they have a good experience with your business. The best advertising is through word of mouth, as long as it’s good feed back. And to make sure your clients only have good things to say about your business, it is imperative that they have good experiences there. A happy customer makes for the opportunity of new business.

As with anything in life people have a tendency to be more likely to do something if there’s something in it for them. Tell your customers that for every person they refer to your boot camp they’ll get something in return. It could be as simple as a discount or maybe even a product. Whatever it is this is a sure-fire way to generate new business as well as making your existing customer happy.

Nothing beats advertising like with the written word, and by that I mean newspapers. Get in touch with all the local newspapers as well as any local magazines and things of that nature. Going this route is a good idea for several reasons, there is usually little cost involved in it, the turn around is great and you can also use these advertisements as references on your web site. Advertising with your local newspaper allows you a way to reach out and touch the people in your area and can be quite good for business.

Getting back to basics is a good way to go with advertising also. Go out into your local community and network. This helps to build relationships within the business community as well as gets your company’s name out there. People respond to this and will be curious and come and check out your boot camp. With networking it can help generate interest and interest generates business with generates profit for your company.

10 Benefits Of Submitting Articles To Ezines

Online marketers all have their own web pages that talk about the products or services they offer. Part of a successful business strategy is directing ample traffic to these websites. And an online marketer may accomplish this goal in many ways.

Purchasing advertisements is a good way, for instance. But this can cost big bucks.

Hiring someone to make top notch videos can be great, too, for video marketing on the web. But this, too, can cost bucks.

Writing articles about the product or service and including back links on the web page in a byline or resource box that directs the visitor to the sales page is a better way. Whether you write the articles yourself or hire a ghost writer, costs are minimal. And on the World Wide Web, there are lots of ezines, article directories and free content websites that are always on the lookout for new content.

Note some of the benefits:

1. You get to create your very own branded message at the bottom of your articles. Don’t neglect to leave out your name, business identity, all your credentials, email address, web page URL and other details in your resource box.

2. You will be treated as a professional in the field of the subject of the articles you write. As you work on, you earn credibility and this helps you survive in a world where the competition can be tough.

3. If you are lucky, the articles you write may be published on the publisher’s home page or other places for extra exposure to search engines and people.

4. Some ezine publishers archive their issues on their web sites. This will show off your articles to a lot more people than you ever imagined, as consumers often read back issues before actually subscribing.

5. Advertising will come virtually free. As a result, you can invest your profits in other more innovative forms of advertising for your business; for example, you can buy advertising space in ezines that don’t yet publish your articles.

6. There is always the possibility of raking in some extra cash. People who have read your articles might want you to do some writing for them. You may be asked to pen your own book or speak at prestigious seminars. Talk about income supplementation!

7. You can let ezine publishers publish your articles in their free reports or ebooks, as people tend to share these resources, so you can get noticed in a big way.

8. Your article can end up being published all over the internet if you submit it to such an ezine that has a free content directory on their web page. Visitors can use your articles for their own needs, and you can be the center of attention of a lot of people in this way.

9. Subscribers will come to trust you. Once they’ve read your article and rated it positively, they will be open to buying your product or service or idea. Automatically, profits can start soaring.

10. Work in sync with other ezines and business people in general. If they publish your writing, agree to publish theirs.

The best thing about ezines is that you brand your articles and yourself in the long run. The resource box is the tool that will allow you do achieve this.

Stroke I’m A Survivor

Ten years ago I suffered a heart attack and I survived. Next step off I went to Cardiac Rehab, I was only 46 years old. I was like their mascot and most of the people there are older. Well that was a walk in the park compared to the two strokes I had 5 years ago. With a heart attack you feel very tired. Now I am retired disabled.

My prior life was a busy, successful Real Estate Career-After the heart attack I became a Mortgage Officer for 10 years and then I stroked twice off I went to Stroke Rehab . After you open your eyes You think everything is fine. They tell you, you can’t get out of bed and the sides are up. Well one nurse happen to leave the side down and I decided to walk to the bathroom I took two steps and collapsed on the floor. That is when I realized I would never be the same person I was. Then my husband & son came into the room and told me. I have to have Risky Carotid Artery Surgery. I survived again. Now I can tell you from personal experience, with a Stroke, every day you find out something else you cannot do & you’ll never be the same person you was, When I sat down at a computer at Occupational Therapy my left fingers wouldn’t move like they used to I have to use my index finger to type with my left hand. I used to be able to type as fast as someone talked. It affected my left side but my right side was fine. My husband said it never affected my ability to talk and the Speech Therapist was pleased with my annunciation, my husband not so much.Ha Ha I have gone through Cardiac Rehab & Stroke Rehab I never got the messages or the jacuzzi or any good meds just a lot of hard work. Needless to say I was depressed. I cried a lot & a Therapist asked me if I was suicidal Heck no I am fighting to survive. I could not believe that she said that to me. I thought I deserved a pity party after what I have gone through. After several years I was very bored sitting on the coach. I needed to stimulate my mind, renew my self esteem & give me a sense of self worth. no more coach potato for me I decided to start an internet business. Now I never was savvy on the internet. I consider myself a newbie. I made a lot of mistakes, lost a lot of money but I have persisted. I just knew if I learned from the Master I could make some money at what I used to call the “The Internet”" “The Black Hole”where you pour money into.. Now I can honestly say I have found my third career and my last most likely, on the internet. That it is no longer The “Big Black Hole” to me. I highly recommend it to Stroke Survivors & anyone else that wants to stimulate your mind and You can make a lot of money at it,too. So I recommend turn off that TV, Get off that couch. Join me on the internet. As my Mentor Tellman Knudson would say “You Can Overcome Everything”

Secrets of Creating a Hot Viral Facebook Application

• 80,585 Facebook applications as of 2009-05-13

• Top most active applications were Living Social, Rock You Live and Movies

• Importance of an architecture of social entertainment

• Tips on application type, title, description, newsfeeds, icon, request/invitations, notification, email and spam

As of 13 May 2009, there were 80,585 applications constructed on Facebook, with hundreds being added each day. The 3 most active applications were Living Social, Rock You Live and Movies respectively. These successfully viral applications on Facebook, all bore a common hallmark, which is they were built upon an architecture of social entertainment.

An application not only creates an element of fun and gets users involved with your brand, it’s also a great driver in generating traffic to your site. Best of all, it is achieves excellent cost efficiency with the results it can produce.

Here are some tips to creating an awesome application that will hopefully plaster the walls of users who would readily adopt your application very soon!

Application Type

First and foremost, you’ll have to decide on the type of application that suits best: web or desktop depending on whether you want the user to download it or use it only on the web.

Application Title

An interesting title will stick in people’s minds when they talk about and recommend applications to their friends. Come up with one that is descriptive, memorable and sets your application apart.

Application Description

Just as important is the description of your application. Make use of convincing copy that describes the highlights of your application to entice the user to add it.

Newsfeeds

Live News Feeds literally feed updates of other users on a member’s home page, and this is an excellent way to get people to notice your application. Designing your application to publish News Feeds can vastly increase the presence of your application.

Choose only interesting and exciting events to broadcast, and not just everything. Decide on the title, body and images of your News Feed and work around with the text and image limits to produce a front page worthy feed!

Application Icon

A 16 X 16 icon size on the application menu only allows for a simple one, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be memorable. Pick an image that users can identify you by.

With a more generous 64 X 64 icon specification for the product category, you have more space to create a graphic icon that best represents your application. Remember that an inviting visual is just as important in trying to attract users!

Requests/Invitations

A fun application users enjoy will have the ability to work its own magic when users invite their friends to use your application. This is an excellent way in which your application can gain popularity. However, users cannot send more than 20 requests or invitations per day for each application.

Notifications

Notifications, sent in response to application activity, is a way in which you can maintain a relationship with your users. This is another way you can entice new users to adopt your application; use action-oriented words that will encourage a response from other users to click on your application.

However, bear in mind that spam control is in place when sending notifications sent to non-users.

Emails

You can also send simple emails to your application’s users to encourage them to use your application more. Ideally, you should send out an email update to your users every week, as well as on special events or dates.

Spam

Be careful about having spam hinder your efforts as if your application could be blocked from users if it generates spam. An excessive amount of notifications sent to non-application users would trigger the alarm and your application could face blockages and receive a warning.

After you’ve constructed your application, you will need to garner five users or more before submitting it to Facebook for approval, after which it will show up in the application listing upon approval.

A strong application concept, backed by the ability to understand and fully utilize these components can result in a phenomenal application that might just take the community by storm, like what some popular applications have achieved.

Online Branding – the Basics

The term “brand” has been around for many years and can be used to refer to a company name, a product name, an advertising campaign or a logo. Branding is used to create an emotional attachment to a product or company. It can also create a sense of perceived higher quality or value.

In Internet marketing, branding is more than logos and theme songs. Branding lets customers know who you are, what you do and how you do it. It’s your promise of value. Effective branding will increase your potential customer base and more potential customers will always equal more sales opportunities.

In recent years, consumers have been spending more time and money on the Internet. In addition to communicating with friends, they’re comparison shopping and making more and more purchases online. It’s imperative for a business to use the Internet to make an impact.

Here are a few ways to define your online identity.

Describe Your Brand First – Start With What You Do

When they land on your website, your visitors should know immediately what your company does and how it can help them. Don’t be ambiguous and don’t try to be too cute. Build a unique shopping experience that a visitor will remember. With regard to graphics on your website, remember that images can convey more than words, and good ones can play a major part in online branding.

Find Your Target Market

The focus of a marketing campaign is people. Your goal is to reach a subset of the population who might be interested in your particular product – your target market.

The more you know about your target market, the more precisely you can develop a marketing strategy. Your branding efforts should focus on that target market. Your message should be clear and should appeal to your visitor and make them realize the benefits of visiting your website, your store and ultimately buying your products or services.

Humanize Your Website

What is your company’s personality? The online world can be a cold and daunting place. Your branding efforts can be much more effective when you add a human element to your website. Brands are like people in that a strong one has personality, expresses opinions and elicits feelings. Your website and brand could and should do the same thing.

If you are the sole owner, put your name and photo on your site to take away the mystery and distrust of a cold, impersonal website. Take a good look at your site. Does your design scheme complement your identity? You should be working toward your site having its own identity, unique language and clear personality.

Take a look at some of the sites you enjoy visiting and see what makes them special and satisfying to you. Branding is not about making your site more corporate – it’s about making it personal so that visitors want to come back.

Be Consistent

For effective branding on the web, you should be consistent in terms of your approach, your message and your language throughout your visitors’ experience. Any gateway to your customers – website, blog, newsletter, emails – should have your consistent, unique personality.

Content, Content, Content

Just as location, location, location is crucial in real estate, having great content on your site is a major factor in getting customers to return. Useful, brand-related information coupled with your unique voice will help you gain fans and ultimately loyal customers.

With good content, your website becomes “sticky”, that is, it’s able to keep visitors on the site browsing and reading longer. When the content is what people are looking for, they are not only more likely to stay longer, they’ll bookmark your site and maybe recommend it to others. They will learn that you are a reputable source of information and eventually go to your site for purchases.

Your branding goal should be to provide rich information on your site to build an expert reputation that will be recognized by both customers and search engines.

Have an Online Presence Outside of Your Site

Post regularly to online forums where people who might be interested in your brand are gathering. Use your expertise in your field to offer intelligent and useful information and include a link to your website in your signature.

With good online content, you can satisfy people’s craving for suitable information and increase your linking strategy at the same time. For example, if you have a site that sells art and painting supplies, you could write a history article on Rembrandt to be published online. This page for history or art buffs will now link potential customers from your target market to your site, and will become part of your linking strategy.

On your website, offer a free newsletter or rss feed. This will allow you to build a database of potential customers who have gone out of their way to express interest in your brand. Your newsletter will then allow you to deliver your message to an interested audience with a controlled frequency that will further build your brand.

Customers are becoming savvy and more discriminating when it comes to online interactions, and retailers need to provide a consistent, positive marketing experience. Great websites put substance before flash and that’s what branding is all about – your promise of value.
