WordPress Plugin to help comment interaction.
Hi Folks,
I have come across a new (new to me….about November ’07 entry), WordPress plugin designed to increase and reward commenter interaction.
In business, at least to me, interaction with people, just not customers, is imperative, and essential to every aspect of being successful. Naturally, I want people to buy from me, but I also want them to be happy about it. Even if I people buy simply because they “need” too, I want them to feel and know they can shopped well, and not just for something like socks. My ultimate goal is to give the purchase experience one that I find the best, and that is starting at a level of satisfaction going up into being darn right thrilled about it. Staying in touch with customer likes, dislikes, trust, suggestions, (constructive) criticisms, is what makes it all work. As part of my own attempt to improve customer service, Commnet Luv will be in place for awhile.
With that said, the plug-in mentioned, “CommentLuv” that can be found here: Comment Luv Plugin.
For a full explanation on how the plug in works, and a demonstration, I encourage any and all to visit the site, and see for yourself. (Click on like above, or see the link in the Blogroll) However, briefly, this plugin in works by visiting the feed of the comment author. There it will try to scrape the last post made and display it under their comment. In this manner, people will be encouraged to join in the discussion of posts and give something back straight away.

I really like this plugin but am concerned about the effect it may have on my googleability… i think if you are going for readers this plugin is great… if you want search traffic it’s not as good… as a compromise I have it on about 1/2 my blogs
