Back in the days when I used to go to my grandparents, I always remember them having a wooden shed. 6.Put your vase of flowers in a place that is away from direct sunlight, drafts, and excess heat such heating vents. At night, place your arrangement in the refrigerator, but remember to take it out in the morning. Change the water and food every few days.

First you need the following materials: your favorite flowers or foliage picked and ready to press. A large phone book or dictionary, a sheet of newspaper and more heavy objects enough to equal about 20 lbs. worth. Then you need to take your fresh flowers and place them in the refrigerator or in an ice chest to keep them from wilting. If you let your flowers or foliage wilt then it will give you a discolored flower. You can do this while preparing the rest of your pressing materials.

Next, you need to place the flowers or foliage on the inside fold of the sheet of newspaper, do not overlap the leaves, stems or petals and then fold the top half of the newspaper sheet down onto the flowers.
